Fee Holiday for License Renewals!

Friday, 20 June 2014 by Robin
The Construction Industry Licensing Board and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation have approved a $100.00 FEE HOLIDAY for the 2014 and 2015 renewal cycles for certified and registered contractors who are renewing their licenses. During the fee holiday, certified and registered contractors renewing an active license will have their fees reduced by $100.00. Certified and registered contractors renewing their inactive licenses will have their $50.00 inactive renewal fee waived in its entirety. All contractors (active or inactive) will still be required to pay the $5.00 unlicensed activity fee and the $4.00 Florida Building Commission fee in order to renew their license.

Get State-Certified! Grandfather Your License!

Thursday, 14 February 2013 by Robin
Good evening! I cannot stress enough what an important opportunity Grandfathering your State-Registered license to a State-Certified License is. These kind of bonuses do not come along often! It is much easier to maintain a copy of your State Certified License with your working locations than going through the ever-long reciprocity hassle. License Exam Services makes it easy to go through the paperwork process. There are a few companies out there offering to help you out with the application, but they do not make it as simple as License Exam Services does. We do not send you a bulky workbook to fill out with instructions that can take a couple of days to complete; we take your information over the phone, schedule your fingerprint appointment, gather your credit reports, and for most counties, we obtain the Verification of Examination/Letter of Good Standing for you.

Get Rid of that Registered License and Go State-Certified!

Tuesday, 05 February 2013 by Robin
License Exam Services has helped over 400 State Registered Contractors upgrade those licenses to State-Certified Licenses since October 2012! This is not a scam, there are no strings, and this is for real! If you took a Block, Experior, Prometric, NAI, or Thompson Prometric exam for your trade and your license has been in good standing for 5 years with no fines over $500 or revocations/suspensions of your license, you can become a State Certified Contractor without taking the State Exam. This applies to the major trades licenses (drywall and specialty structure are not included). You have to fingerprint, get credit reports, and pay the fees; that’s it.
